Hannah B. Morgan

Hannah B. Morgan is a partner in Tanner & Guin Law Firm’s Business and Corporate Law Practice. She advises business owners, developers, and investors on complex corporate matters with a clear and practical approach. With a strong foundation in both law and business, she understands how legal decisions affect daily operations and long-term goals. Her practice focuses on securities, bond and bank finance, tax incentives, commercial real estate law, mergers and acquisitions, and general business law.

Hannah earned her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law. During her law studies, she was a Senior Associate Editor and Member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. She also earned an M.B.A. from Samford University and a B.S. in Business Management, magna cum laude, from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. During law school, she served as a Senior Associate Editor and a Member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, which strengthened her research and legal writing skills.

Hannah has represented clients in high-value and complex transactions throughout her career. She has served as corporate counsel in more than seven dental practice acquisitions in Alabama. She has also acted as corporate and securities counsel in multiple private securities offerings under Regulation D. As bond counsel, she has worked on the issuance or refinancing of more than $600 million in Gulf Opportunity Zone bonds. In addition, she has advised clients on obtaining tax incentives for projects ranging from $17.8 million to $38.6 million.

Hannah B. Morgan is licensed to practice in Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi and is admitted to several state and federal courts. She works closely with closely held businesses to manage risk, structure deals, and support growth. Her goal is to provide practical solutions that protect her clients’ interests and position them for long-term success.
