Keith M. Carwell

Keith M. Carwell is a seasoned attorney whose practice centers on corporate, real estate, zoning, and financing matters. For decades, he has guided clients through complex legal challenges with steady judgment and practical solutions. His work reflects a commitment to helping individuals, businesses, and community institutions resolve significant legal and financial issues.

Keith earned a B.A. in 1969 from Western Kentucky University. He later obtained his J.D. with honors in 1974 from The George Washington University Law School. His academic training provided a strong foundation in legal analysis and advocacy, preparing him for a career focused on detailed transactions and long-term business planning.

Keith has played a central role in major development projects, including legal work connected to the creation and expansion of a modern hospital campus in Bowling Green. He handled land consolidation, rezoning matters, and financing arrangements, including bond issues exceeding $24 million in 1977 and more than $77 million in 2008. His guidance supported continued community growth.

Keith regularly advises corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies on entity selection, formation, governance, and operational planning. He prepares shareholder and ownership agreements and assists buyers and sellers in negotiating acquisitions of retail, manufacturing, and service businesses. His approach emphasizes careful structuring to protect long-term business interests.

Keith M. Carwell was admitted to practice in Kentucky in 1974, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.
