H. Vincent McKnight Jr.

H. Vincent McKnight Jr. is Co-Vice Chairman of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, a Co-Ombudsperson, and Co-Chair of the firm’s Whistleblower and Qui Tam Practice Group. His practice focuses on representing corporate whistleblowers who report government contract procurement fraud, banking misconduct, securities fraud, and other alleged corporate malfeasance. He also represents executives in sensitive wrongful discharge and discrimination matters.

McKnight earned a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and a B.A. from Brown University. He clerked for the Honorable William C. Pryor in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. His education and clerkship experience provided a foundation in legal analysis, appellate issues, and trial court procedure that informs his complex whistleblower and employment work.

McKnight has represented relators in significant False Claims Act and government contracting matters, including cases involving defense procurement, federal pricing requirements, healthcare billing, and financial misconduct. His representations have included whistleblowers whose information contributed to substantial government recoveries and penalties. He also advises clients through sensitive employment disputes where allegations of retaliation, discrimination, or wrongful termination intersect with broader corporate investigations and regulatory concerns.

H. Vincent McKnight Jr. serves on the Board of Directors of The Anti-Fraud Coalition and previously chaired its board.
