About
Hannah M. Littlefield is an Associate Attorney at Carr Maloney P.C. Her practice includes Employment and Labor Law, General Liability, Complex Litigation, Professional Liability, and Estate and Trust Litigation. She represents clients in disputes that require careful factual development, motion practice, and practical case management. Her background in elder law and fiduciary matters also gives her experience with sensitive proceedings involving families, estates, and vulnerable adults.
Littlefield earned a J.D. from the College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law and a B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Her legal education prepared her for civil litigation and court-focused practice, while her undergraduate academic record reflects a strong foundation in research and analysis. She is admitted to practice law in Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Littlefield spent five years at a boutique Elder Law firm, where she handled adult guardianships and conservatorships, contested guardianship litigation, trust and estate administration, fiduciary litigation, and service as a Guardian ad Litem for incapacitated adults. Before entering private practice, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Louise M. DiMatteo at the Arlington County Circuit Court, gaining direct experience with trial court procedure.
Hannah M. Littlefield has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Elder Law in Virginia for 2025 and 2026 and received the 2023 Pro Bono Champion Award from the Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center. She also serves as President of the Fairfax Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and participates in pro bono initiatives, complementing a litigation practice focused on careful advocacy and professional service.
