Gregory P. Muccilli is a partner at Shipman & Goodwin LLP in New Haven, Connecticut. He is a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Environmental and Land Use practice group and advises clients on real estate development, commercial financing, commercial leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and land use matters. His clients include real estate developers, home builders, REITs, family offices, corporations, banks, commercial lenders, individuals, and governmental entities.

Muccilli earned his J.D. cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2008, where he also received a Certificate in Tax Law with honors. He received his B.A. from the University of Connecticut in 2003. His education provides a strong foundation in real estate law, tax planning, transaction structuring, title issues, and the careful legal analysis required for complex commercial property matters.

Muccilli represents clients in matters involving industrial, commercial, mixed-use, multifamily residential, office, biotech, laboratory, retail, and hospitality properties. His experience includes acquisition, financing, development, leasing, sale-leaseback, build-to-suit, reverse build-to-suit, ground lease, and land development agreements. He also serves as Connecticut counsel in multistate transactions and has advised hotel owners and purchasers on the acquisition and disposition of luxury, historic, boutique, and franchised hotel properties.

Muccilli has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for real estate law, Chambers USA for real estate, and Connecticut Super Lawyers for real estate. He is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, and he serves as chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
