About

Glen D. Mangum is a highly respected attorney with a career devoted to representing employees in workplace disputes. Since beginning his private practice in 1982, he has consistently advocated for clients facing issues like discrimination, retaliation, and unfair treatment in both the public and private sectors.

Glen began his academic journey at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology in 1974. After gaining hands-on experience as a paralegal, he went on to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. There, he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in 1979, building a solid foundation for his legal career.

In the early years of his practice, Glen clerked for the Honorable Robert B. O’Connor, U.S. Magistrate Judge, gaining in-depth knowledge of the federal court system. This experience sharpened his litigation skills and helped prepare him for the complex cases he would later take on.

Glen went on to work with seasoned employment lawyers, building his knowledge in labor and employment law. These roles gave him direct insight into employee rights, workplace regulations, and legal remedies available to those treated unfairly by their employers.

For decades, Glenhas represented clients before both state and federal courts, as well as before agencies like the EEOC and MSPB. His advocacy has made a significant difference in the lives of employees wrongfully terminated, harassed, or retaliated against.

Glen D. Mangum is licensed in all Texas courts, several U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Federal Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Glen is also a member of key organizations such as the State Bar of Texas’ Labor and Employment Law Section, the National Employment Lawyers Association, and its Texas and San Antonio chapters.
