Gerardo Alvarez

Gerardo Alvarez is an associate attorney at Employment Law Office of John H. Haskin & Associates, LLC, and represents employees in employment law matters throughout Indiana. His practice is devoted entirely to advocating for workers facing disputes with employers. He assists plaintiffs with claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, employment contracts, wage concerns, and other workplace issues. Mr. Alvarez earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington. He graduated with high distinction and made the Dean’s List as an undergraduate. During law school, he served as Executive Editor of the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality, Vice President of the Latino Law Student Association, and a Civil Justice Design Fellow supporting his legal development experience.

Mr. Alvarez gained additional experience as an intern for Judge Derek R. Molter at the Court of Appeals of Indiana. He later worked as a law clerk at Cohen & Malad, LLP and as an associate attorney at Eichhorn & Eichhorn, LLP. These roles strengthened his litigation, research, and advocacy skills before he joined an employee-focused practice representing workers in employment disputes across Indiana state and federal matters with dedication consistently.

Gerardo Alvarez is admitted to practice in Indiana and before the US District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He is also a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. He speaks English and Spanish, helping him communicate with a broader range of clients. His practice centers on workers’ rights, combining legal training, prior litigation experience, and a strong commitment to representing employees in workplace disputes statewide.
