Shannon Draher is a senior attorney at Coffman Employment Lawyers in Columbus, Ohio, with more than 25 years of litigation experience. Her practice focuses on employment law and workers’ rights, particularly wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unpaid wages, and other wage-and-hour violations. Draher has spent more than a decade representing employees and has handled complex collective and class action litigation for workers nationwide seeking compensation for unpaid wages.
Draher earned her J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2001, graduating magna cum laude and earning membership in the Order of the Coif. She received her B.A. from the University of Toledo in 1998. Her academic training, combined with extensive litigation experience, supports her ability to analyze employment disputes, manage complex claims, develop litigation strategy, and advocate for workers in individual and large-scale employment matters.
Before joining Coffman Employment Lawyers, Draher founded and managed her own law firm, where she recovered more than $50 million for workers in unpaid overtime and wage violation cases. She has represented thousands of employees nationwide in collective and class actions involving compensation disputes. Earlier in her career, she practiced at prominent law firms, gaining litigation training that continues to inform her approach to case preparation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy.
Shannon Draher has been selected to Super Lawyers each year from 2021 through 2026. She is admitted to practice in Ohio and before numerous federal district and appellate courts, including the Sixth and Seventh Circuits and the D.C. Circuit.
