George Blazeski is an intellectual property lawyer with a strong focus on helping inventors, businesses, and organizations protect their innovations. His experience includes patent and trademark prosecution as well as drafting opinions that guide clients in bringing new technologies to market while avoiding legal conflicts.
George earned his BE in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, where his capstone project involved creating a new design for a sleep apnea mask. He went on to complete his MEng in Systems Engineering at Stevens, receiving the Ann P. Neupauer Scholarship, the school’s highest academic honor. Later, he earned his JD from Seton Hall University School of Law, with concentrations in Intellectual Property and Health Law.
George applies his background in both engineering and law to prepare and prosecute patent applications across a variety of technical areas. He has handled patents for medical devices, surgical products, robotic surgical technologies, consumer products, shoreline resiliency solutions, dental implants, and dental products. His work also extends to applications in supply chain systems, disinfectant technologies, space technologies, and other specialized fields.
George has also contributed to scholarship in the legal field, publishing papers at Seton Hall on copyright issues related to video game content on YouTube and on the legal aspects of do-it-yourself biohacking. In addition, he provides clients with trademark prosecution services, assisting them in building and safeguarding brand identity.
