Gary R. Dodge is a founding partner at Curley, Dodge, Fitzgerald, & Funk, LLC, and a respected legal figure in Dover, Delaware. Since being admitted to the Delaware Bar in 1980, he has dedicated more than four decades to practicing law with professionalism and distinction. Mr. Dodge focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, business counseling, estate administration, and mediation. Earlier in his career, he was deeply involved in real estate litigation and general civil litigation, securing some of the highest jury awards in Kent County history.
Mr. Dodge earned his B.A. in Economics and Government from Franklin & Marshall College in 1977. He went on to receive his J.D. from the Delaware Law School of Widener University in 1980.
Mr. Dodge has been a cornerstone of Delaware’s legal community. He was admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Delaware in 1981 and to the U.S. Supreme Court Bar in 1986. He has represented the Kent County Association of Realtors for over 34 years, taught both pre-licensing and continuing education courses, and served on several legal and civic committees. These include the Delaware Bar’s Professional Guidance Committee, the Superior Court’s Civil Advisory Committee, and task forces for both DelDOT and DNREC.
Gary R. Dodge also played a key role in preserving Garrison’s Lake Golf Course from development, showcasing his commitment to public interest. In 2006, he was honored by the Delaware Supreme Court for his exemplary pro bono service. Through his real estate expertise and civic leadership, Mr. Dodge continues to serve as a guiding force for clients and the broader Delaware legal landscape.
