Jon W. Morphew

Jon W. Morphew is a Minneapolis-based attorney and founder of Morphew Law Office, P.L.L.C., where he brings over 23 years of legal experience to clients across Minnesota. His practice focuses on real estate law, eminent domain, and relocation benefits, with additional work in land use, special assessment appeals, and litigation for both individuals and commercial entities.

Jon earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa and his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1998. Shortly after graduating, he relocated to Minneapolis, where he passed the Minnesota Bar and began building his legal practice.

Jon has successfully represented clients in bench and jury trials, commissioners’ hearings, administrative appeals, and appellate cases. He is recognized for his in-depth knowledge, client-focused service, and skillful courtroom advocacy. He is the past President and current Board Member of the Minnesota Eminent Domain Institute and previously served as Vice-Chair of the Eminent Domain Section of the Hennepin County Bar Association. He also holds leadership roles with the Monticello Economic Development Authority and Business Networking International. In addition, he has contributed to continuing legal education courses and has taught contracts and business law as an adjunct instructor at St. Cloud Community and Technical College.
