Eric Dobberstein

Eric Dobberstein is a seasoned attorney with over 29 years of experience resolving complex legal disputes. Known for his ability to mediate, arbitrate, and litigate across a range of issues, he has handled over 850 lawsuits involving personal injury, business conflicts, and construction matters. Eric has also acted as a neutral in more than 400 cases.

Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 1985 and later obtained his Juris Doctor from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in 1988. His legal credentials extend to multiple courts, including the U.S. District Court of Nevada, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Eric’s practice spans a broad array of legal areas, including personal injury, construction defect, premises liability, real estate disputes, and complex commercial cases. He has served as counsel on projects ranging from minor residential issues to multibillion-dollar developments such as MGM City Center and Fontainebleau.

As a mediator, Eric is highly regarded for helping parties reach productive resolutions in difficult multi-party disputes. His extensive experience across Nevada’s Municipal, Justice, District, and Supreme Courts, as well as federal courts, informs his ability to evaluate cases with clarity and fairness.

Eric Dobberstein has held notable roles including Pro Tempore Judge and Chair of the Henderson Planning Commission. He has received honors such as the AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, a 10.0 AVVO rating, and recognition as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer.

Eric is an active member of the State Bar of Nevada’s Board of Governors and affiliated with groups such as the American Bar Association, Nevada Justice Association, and Litigation Counsel of America.
