Gary L. Huusko

Gary L. Huusko has practiced law since 1983, focusing on intellectual property and business matters. He is a registered Patent Attorney admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. His work covers patent and trademark prosecution, copyrights, licensing, and corporate transactional matters.

Gary earned a B.A. from the University of Minnesota – Duluth, Political Science (1979). Coursework included Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Biology/Biochemistry, and Aerospace Engineering (1994-96). He later received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law (1983). During law school, he served as Dean (President), Amdahl – Ramsey Senate of the Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity (1981-1983) and received the Alumni Association Award of Merit (1983).

Gary represents clients in patent and trademark protection, helping businesses secure and defend valuable intellectual property rights. His experience also includes Intellectual Property Licensing and advising on Copyrights. In addition, he assists clients with corporate formation, purchase and sale of businesses, contract issues, and general business advice tailored to long-term growth.

Gary L. Huusko is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, the United States Tax Court, and the State of Minnesota.
