Gary K. Grace began practicing law in 1974 and has built a distinguished career spanning 50 years. His professional focus includes product liability, professional liability, premises liability, civil rights litigation, zoning law, trucking litigation, boundary disputes, and personal injury. He also provides legal guidance in matters involving municipal law and wrongful termination.
Gary earned his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama in 1970 before completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Alabama School of Law in 1974. This strong academic background provided a technical and legal foundation that supports his work in complex litigation and advisory roles.
Gary has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts, representing clients in high-stakes disputes. He is also a licensed mediator and serves as a hearing officer for the City of Huntsville, applying his negotiation skills to resolve conflicts efficiently. His counsel extends to the American Board of Funeral Service Education, where he advises on accreditation and educational service matters.
Gary’s professional affiliations include the Alabama State Bar Association, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, and Huntsville Bar Association. He has been recognized among Alabama Super Lawyers and is admitted to practice before all Alabama state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama, and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
