Franz Cobos

Franz Cobos, Esq., is the owner and managing partner of Cobos Law Firm in New Jersey, where he provides dedicated legal representation across family law, immigration law, and business law. With over a decade of experience practicing in both New York and New Jersey, Cobos is recognized as an aggressive and effective litigator. His practice is rooted in helping individuals, families, and businesses resolve complex disputes while safeguarding their rights and guiding them toward practical solutions.

Cobos earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2004, after completing his B.A. at Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and the U.S. District Court, he brings strong legal knowledge to a broad spectrum of cases. In addition to his practice, he has served as a mentor and Teaching Fellow at Seton Hall Law, contributing to the next generation of attorneys.

Cobos’s family law practice covers matters such as divorce, child custody, alimony, equitable distribution, adoption, and domestic violence cases. In immigration law, he represents clients in removal defense, asylum, family-based petitions, waivers, and nationality matters.
