About
Erika E. Anderson is the founder and managing partner of the Law Offices of Erika E. Anderson, where she represents clients throughout New Mexico in civil litigation matters. With more than 20 years of experience, she is known for her ability to secure strong results at both the trial and appellate levels. Erika focuses her practice on personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, estate planning, and probate. Her reputation is built on dedication to her clients, a willingness to take on challenging cases, and consistent success in obtaining favorable outcomes.
Erika earned her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2001, where she received the A.H. McLeod Award for Skill in Advocacy. She also studied international law through a summer program at the Universidad de Guanajuato. Prior to law school, she earned her M.A. in Counseling from the University of New Mexico and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado, with additional study through the University of Pittsburgh’s Semester at Sea program.
Erika’s litigation experience includes serving as lead and co-counsel in numerous trials in both state and federal court, as well as briefing and arguing appeals before the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Erika E. Anderson is a nationally recognized trial attorney, honored with an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, selection to Super Lawyers, and recognition as one of the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers. A former President of both the State Bar of New Mexico and the New Mexico Women’s Bar Association, she continues to lead in the legal community while aggressively advocating for justice and meaningful results for her clients.
