About
Emily Leffler, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at the Law Office of Raymond O. Griffith, where she focuses on complex family and business immigration matters. She assists clients with permanent residency, citizenship, and a wide range of nonimmigrant and employment-based visa petitions before USCIS and in Immigration Court.
Emily earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 2022 and is licensed to practice in the State of Maryland. During law school, she served as a student attorney with the Immigrant Justice Clinic, where she submitted U visa applications for crime victims. She also worked with Casa de Maryland, gaining experience in civil litigation related to work permit delays.
Prior to law school, Emily completed her undergraduate education at Niagara University, located near the Canada–U.S. border. Her passion for immigration law began there, where she observed immigration attorneys advocating for clients at border crossings—experiences that inspired her commitment to the field and to the rights of immigrants.
At Griffith Immigration Law, Emily focuses on helping clients secure permanent residency through both USCIS and Immigration Court. She has extensive experience with I-601 and I-601A waivers, U visas for crime victims, and naturalization/citizenship applications. With a deep background in family-based immigration, Emily guides individuals and families through complex immigration challenges with both compassion and meticulous attention to detail.
Emily also advises clients on business immigration, managing petitions for H-1 B, O-1A, O-1B, L, and TN visas, as well as EB-2 classifications with and without National Interest Waivers. She ensures employers and skilled workers receive knowledgeable, timely support throughout the process.
Emily Leffler brings a client-focused, results-driven approach to every case. Her professional background and passion for immigration law continue to positively impact individuals and families seeking legal status and opportunity in the United States.
