Amber L. Weeks is a partner at Vrapi Weeks and manages the firm’s Albuquerque, New Mexico office. Her practice focuses on family-based immigration, business visa petitions, green card applications, naturalization, J-1 waivers, and H-1B and PERM filings. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law.
Ms. Weeks earned her Juris Doctorate summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2010. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of New Mexico in 2004, graduating summa cum laude. Her academic achievements include Clinical Honors and the Highest Academic Achievement award.
Ms. Weeks is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where she serves on the National USCIS Field Operations Committee and co-chairs the Distance Learning Committee. She regularly speaks at immigration conferences and has authored numerous practice advisories on waivers, naturalization, and marriage-based petitions.
