Elliot M.S. Yi

Elliot M.S. Yi is the founder and lead attorney of Immigration Law Group, LLC in Portland, Oregon. He represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of immigration matters, including marriage-based green cards, employment visas, family petitions, investment-based visas, and removal defense in immigration court.

Elliot earned his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law in 2011 and continued his legal education there with an LL.M. in Transnational Law in 2012. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lewis & Clark College, where he was a Dean’s Scholar. During law school, he served as executive editor of the Willamette Journal of International Law and participated in international moot court competitions.

Elliot has built a highly regarded immigration law practice focused on delivering strategic, efficient, and client-centered legal services. He has successfully represented many Oregon businesses seeking to sponsor foreign employees and regularly appears in removal proceedings before the Portland Immigration Court.

Elliot is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Multnomah Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. His outstanding work has earned numerous awards, including Expertise.com’s Top Immigration Lawyers in Portland (2019, 2020), Avvo’s Client’s Choice Award (2016–2018), and recognition by the National Advocates as one of the Top 40 under 40 in immigration law.
