Elizabeth’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication/Public Relations and Journalism from Southern Illinois University School of Law. That experience led to a career-long dedication to public education law, beginning in 1986.

Elizabeth is a licensed Texas attorney admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She has extensive experience representing school districts as general counsel and in complex education litigation, delivering practical, results‑driven legal solutions backed by deep knowledge of school law.
