Michael V. Galo Jr. dedicates his practice to federal and state employment and labor law, representing employers across Texas in litigation, arbitration, and appellate matters. With over 25 years of experience, he has developed particular expertise in the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Michael also advises on matters under the National Labor Relations Act, including union organizing, collective bargaining, and labor arbitration.

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Art History and Archaeology from Princeton University. He is admitted to practice in Texas, the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Southern, and Northern Districts of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Michael has extensive experience in jury trials and maintains an active appellate practice, serving as lead counsel in 16 employment law appeals, including nine oral arguments before federal and state appellate courts. His representative cases involve non-competition agreements, trade secret protection, ADA claims, FMLA litigation, and Fair Labor Standards Act disputes. He has successfully defended employers in numerous published decisions, shaping significant areas of employment law.
