Elias J. Ancharski focuses his practice on energy, water, and utility law, and real estate, representing private companies involved in development and infrastructure projects throughout Arizona. He regularly advises clients navigating complex regulatory frameworks, administrative proceedings, and compliance requirements. Elias serves as a key liaison between companies and state regulatory agencies, helping prepare proposals and applications designed to meet statutory standards and achieve approval. Elias earned his J.D. from Vermont Law School. He received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh. While in law school, he served as a Notes Editor for the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law, strengthening his research and writing skills in environmental and regulatory matters. His academic focus on environmental law laid the foundation for his career advising clients in energy development and public utility regulation.
During law school, Elias interned with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and spent a semester with the Arizona Corporation Commission in its Legal Division. There, he assisted with state utility matters and gained firsthand experience in administrative and regulatory proceedings. These experiences shaped his understanding of how government agencies evaluate applications and enforce compliance, allowing him to guide clients effectively through transactional and regulatory processes.
Admitted to practice in Arizona, Elias J. Ancharski concentrates on government and regulatory law, environmental law, real estate matters, and public utility issues. He currently serves as Chair-Elect of the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Environmental and Natural Resources Section. Through detailed preparation and practical advice, Elias helps clients overcome regulatory hurdles and advance energy and infrastructure initiatives across the state.
