Michael Piekny is an attorney with more than 14 years of legal experience, advising clients across a broad range of matters. His background includes complex corporate transactions, litigation support, and client-focused advocacy. Michael earned his Bucknell University (B.A., Magna Cum Laude, 2006). He then received his Hofstra University School of Law (J.D., Cum Laude, 2009). His academic training built a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and analysis, preparing him to handle both transactional and litigation matters with skill and precision.

Michael began his legal career in New York at Federman Steifman, LLP, where he represented investment partnerships in major corporate and real estate transactions. He advised clients on purchases and sales, leasing agreements, structured financings, and corporate governance. During this time, his clients completed nearly $1B in commercial real estate transactions across the United States.

Michael also gained significant litigation experience while working with The Brattle Group, an economic consulting firm. There, he assisted in preparing expert witness reports for complex disputes in the financial, telecom, pharmaceutical, and public sectors. He contributed to more than fifty expert reports and depositions, managing detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses that supported clear and persuasive testimony.
