Donald began his academic journey at Jesuit High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1977. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1983. In 1991, he earned his Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where he ranked in the top 15% of his class. During law school, he served as an Assistant Editor for the Law Review and contributed to the Michigan Bar Journal.

Licensed to practice law in Texas since 1992, Donald is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas. This extensive state and federal court experience gives clients a powerful legal advocate with broad, statewide reach and proven litigation capabilities.

Earlier in his career, Donald spent two decades with Southwest Airlines Co., where he advised corporate leadership on contracts, employment law, regulatory issues, and dispute resolution.
