Del Dickson is Of Counsel at Jess Couser Family Law, where his practice focuses on adoption, surrogacy and assisted reproduction, private guardian ad litem appointments, custody, divorce, parentage, enforcement, child support, and protective orders. Mr. Dickson earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2007, building on his foundation in political studies after earning a B.A. in Politics from Pomona College in 2004. His strong academic background prepared him for complex litigation and the nuanced work of family law, giving him the tools to advocate effectively on behalf of clients navigating critical family transitions.

Before turning his focus to family law, Mr. Dickson gained extensive legal experience in both public service and civil litigation. He served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of California and clerked for the Honorable Dale S. Fischer in the same district. He also litigated complex civil matters, including employment discrimination, wage-and-hour representative actions, and intellectual property disputes, sharpening his litigation skills across multiple disciplines.
