Dean earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982 from the University of Mississippi, where he also received his Juris Doctor the same year. During law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Board, which reflects his early dedication to advocacy and legal excellence.
Dean handles a broad range of legal issues that go beyond family law. He takes on appellate cases, education law, and civil litigation. His legal strategies are rooted in thorough preparation and a deep understanding of Mississippi law. Dean is admitted to practice in all Mississippi courts, the U.S. District Courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Dean is also an active member of numerous legal associations, including the Mississippi Bar Association’s sections for family law, government law, labor and employment, litigation, general practice, and estates and trusts. He holds membership in the American Association for Justice, the Mississippi Association for Justice, and national legal fraternities such as Phi Alpha Delta and Phi Delta Phi.
