David W. Adams

David W. Adams is a Partner at Bennett, Jacobs & Adams, P.A., where he practices business, employment, commercial, and intellectual property law. A licensed CPA and former accountant with a Big Six firm, he brings over three decades of experience to clients across Florida. David represents individuals, employers, and corporations in complex litigation and transactional matters, providing trusted counsel grounded in both legal and financial expertise.

David earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law, his M.S. in Taxation from Bentley College, and his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. This strong educational foundation, combined with his CPA background, enables him to offer comprehensive guidance in business structuring, compliance, and tax-related legal issues. He is admitted to practice in Florida and multiple U.S. federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Throughout his career, David has handled a broad range of employment and commercial litigation matters, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, non-compete disputes, contract litigation, and securities fraud cases. His transactional practice covers business formation, shareholder agreements, estate planning, and intellectual property protection. He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by The Florida Bar—an honor earned by less than seven percent of attorneys statewide.
