David C. Smith is a partner at Lonabaugh and Riggs, LLP, where he has practiced since 2000. After graduating, David clerked for the Honorable William F. Downes, Chief United States District Judge in Wyoming. He later served as United States Magistrate Judge in Sheridan, Wyoming, from 2009 to 2012. His experience as both a clerk and judge adds depth to his practice, allowing him to anticipate challenges and provide clients with carefully considered strategies across probate, real estate, and business law matters.
Active in his community, David C. Smith has served as Trustee for the Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County and Director for the Child Development Center, Region II. In addition to his civic service, he is admitted to the Wyoming and Colorado State Bars and to federal district courts in both states.
