About
David Pace is a family law attorney at New Beginnings Family Law, where he has served clients since 2016. He is recognized for his compassionate approach to guiding individuals and families through divorce, custody, adoption, and other challenging family matters. With extensive litigation experience in both state and federal courts, he brings strong advocacy and practical solutions to each case, helping clients navigate life’s most difficult transitions.
Pace earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Alabama and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. During law school, he served as Senior Editor of the Law & Psychology Review, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and the intersection of law and human behavior. He has since continued to build on that foundation, receiving an AV Preeminent rating, the highest recognition for legal skill and ethical standards, awarded by his peers.
Pace’s practice includes a broad range of family law services, including divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, dependency, adoption, termination of parental rights, alimony, property division, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and grandparent visitation. He is also licensed as a mediator, offering clients collaborative alternatives to litigation in resolving family disputes. In addition, he serves as a Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children in custody cases, ensuring their safety and well-being remain the top priority.
Beyond his casework, David Pace serves the profession through active involvement in the Alabama State Bar. He is a member of the State Bar Task Force on Quality of Life, Health and Wellness, as well as the Lawyer Referral Committee. His leadership and service reflect his commitment not only to his clients but also to strengthening the practice of family law across Alabama.
