About
Scott M. Hill is the managing partner of Hite, Fanning & Honeyman LLP and an accomplished attorney with broad experience in business law and litigation. He advises clients on corporate governance, banking, real estate, construction disputes, estate planning, and probate, providing practical solutions tailored to the needs of businesses and individuals alike.
Scott holds both an undergraduate degree in business and an MBA, credentials that uniquely equip him to understand the financial and operational challenges facing his clients. He leverages this dual background in law and business to deliver clear, results-oriented strategies, whether guiding complex multimillion-dollar transactions or resolving litigation involving foreclosures, loan defaults, or construction matters.
Admitted to practice before Kansas state and federal courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, Scott has built a reputation for excellence in both transactional and trial work. His leadership within the legal profession has also been widely recognized. He served as President of the Wichita Bar Association (2023–2024) and President of the Kansas Bar Foundation (2020–2021), in addition to contributing his expertise on numerous boards and committees at the local, state, and national levels.
Beyond his legal practice, Scott is part of the firm’s three-person Management Committee, where he focuses on firm operations and strategic growth. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers for 2024 and 2025, a testament to his professional accomplishments and client service.
