David E. “Dave” Chauncey is a Florida-based attorney known for providing strategic legal counsel and litigation services to businesses, educational institutions, and public agencies. His practice centers on employment law, civil rights, education law, and administrative proceedings, strongly emphasizing preventive strategies, compliance, and dispute resolution.
Dave holds a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he made the Dean’s List and served as Symposium Edition Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. He also earned a B.A. in Political Science and History with honors from the University of Florida. He is admitted to all three U.S. District Courts in Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Dave represents clients in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, ADA and FMLA compliance, and civil rights issues under Title VII and Section 1983. His work spans from defending employers in EEOC claims to advising schools on Title IX compliance and FERPA-related concerns.
