Dave Yost serves as Ohio’s 51st Attorney General, having secured re-election in November 2022 with a historic statewide vote total. Dave began his educational journey at The Ohio State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Capital University. Dave launched his career in public service as the Delaware County auditor, later being elected as the county prosecutor. His success in these roles led to his election as Ohio’s auditor of state, a position he held from 2011 through 2018. His experience in auditing and prosecutorial work honed his skills in transparency, ethics, and fiscal responsibility, which continue to guide his tenure as attorney general.
