Daniel N. Farnham

Daniel N. Brogan focuses his practice on business bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, out-of-court restructuring, insolvency proceedings, and related litigation. He advises corporate debtors, official committees, debtor-in-possession financiers, secured and unsecured creditors, asset purchasers, and trustees. His experience spans some of the nation’s largest bankruptcy cases as well as middle-market and smaller proceedings. He also represents clients in bankruptcy court disputes and other distressed commercial matters.

Daniel earned a B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he majored in History. He later received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2012 and earned the Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service. During his final year of law school, he worked as a law clerk at the Delaware Public Defender’s Office. He also completed an internship with the Defender Association of Philadelphia.

Daniel has represented debtors operating in the legal hemp, pharmaceutical, medical testing, restaurant, aviation, retail, and manufacturing sectors. He served as lead debtor’s counsel to an FAA-certified charter air carrier in a reorganization that restructured approximately $70 million in debt and confirmed a plan within four and a half months. His experience also includes representing creditor committees and estate fiduciaries in bankruptcies involving transportation, real estate investment, health care, restaurants, and retail businesses.

Daniel N. Brogan was selected for the Bankruptcy Business category of Delaware Today’s Top Lawyers Edition in 2021 and 2022. He is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Delaware Bankruptcy Inn of Court. He is admitted in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, as well as several federal courts. His work across debtor, committee, and fiduciary representations gives him a practical understanding of complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
