Mark L. Brasee is a partner and Nebraska business and transactional lawyer who advises clients across the state and the Midwest. His practice covers business and corporate law, real estate, commercial agreements, finance, taxation, mergers and acquisitions, business succession, and estate planning. He serves companies of different sizes, entrepreneurial start-ups, nonprofit organizations, individuals, and families. Mark earned a B.S., Business Administration (Accounting and History), from Trinity University in 1989. He later earned a J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1994. He was also a successful candidate for the Certified Public Accountant’s Exam in May 1991. Before entering legal practice, he worked as a staff accountant from 1989 to 1991, focusing on corporate taxation and banking. This training supports his ability to assess business structures, financial risks, tax concerns, and long-term planning needs.
Mark counsels corporate clients on matters that arise throughout the life of a business. He helps clients structure transactions, prepare commercial agreements, arrange financing, handle real estate matters, and plan for ownership transitions. His estate planning work considers both personal needs and business demands, allowing families and business owners to build coordinated plans for the future. His experience also includes serving as a Special Assistant Attorney General in education funding litigation involving Nebraska state officials.
