Daniel L. Lindstrom

Daniel L. Lindstrom is a Nebraska attorney with extensive experience representing clients in agriculture, business, and complex litigation matters. Since joining Jacobsen Orr, Lindstrom & Holbrook, P.C., L.L.O. in 1986, he has developed a broad legal practice that includes insurance disputes, personal injury claims, corporate litigation, zoning issues, and regulatory matters. He represents clients in trial and appellate courts as well as before administrative agencies and local governmental boards, providing strategic legal guidance across a wide range of industries.

Daniel earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a focus on Animal Science from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His academic background in agriculture, combined with his personal farming heritage, has helped him build a strong reputation as a legal advocate for Nebraska farmers, agribusinesses, and rural communities.

Throughout his career, Daniel has worked extensively with clients in the agricultural and biofuels industries. He has more than two decades of experience advising ethanol and biofuel companies on development, construction, operational matters, and related litigation. His ability to understand both the business and scientific aspects of agribusiness allows him to effectively guide clients through complex commercial transactions and industry-specific legal challenges.

Daniel L. Lindstrom has also handled matters involving water law, including water rights litigation, water transfers, and projects involving groundwater recharge and irrigation. In addition to agricultural and environmental matters, he assists businesses with entity formation, land use planning, tax increment financing, and real estate transactions. His experience also allows him to advise farm families on estate planning and succession strategies for agricultural operations.
