Daniel earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of North Dakota in 1989. He later earned his J.D., with distinction, from the same university in 1994. He was also a member of the Order of the Coif, reflecting his strong academic performance.

Daniel focuses his practice on estate planning, creditors’ rights, and commercial and business matters. His work also includes real estate, water law, tax matters, appellate practice, and civil litigation. He provides steady guidance to individuals and businesses facing legal challenges.

Daniel is admitted to practice in North Dakota and Montana, as well as the U.S. District Courts for both states and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. His admissions allow him to represent clients in both state and federal matters.

In addition to his legal practice, Daniel serves as an adjunct professor of law at the University of North Dakota School of Law. He teaches a Modern Real Estate course, sharing his knowledge and experience with future legal professionals.
