Shea Miller

Shea Miller focuses on corporate and employment law, advising businesses and individuals on legal matters that affect growth, operations, and long-term success at Ebeltoft Sickler Lawyers PLLC. She works with clients on business formation, contracts, shareholder and partnership agreements, asset and stock purchases, commercial leases, intellectual property protection, employment issues, and succession planning. Shea earned a B.A., magna cum laude, in Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 2010. She then received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 2014. This education gave her a solid understanding of people, communication, analysis, and legal reasoning. Her academic achievement continues to support her thoughtful, organized approach to advising clients on business and employment matters clearly and effectively.

Shea has broad legal experience in both transactions and litigation. Before joining the firm, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Magistrate Charles S. Miller of the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota. That role strengthened her understanding of court procedure, legal strategy, and case analysis. She now uses that knowledge to guide clients through legal processes, prepare strong agreements, and address disputes with careful planning and practical solutions.

Shea Miller serves as outside general counsel for many clients, offering strategic and cost-effective advice across a wide range of business and employment matters. She helps people by creating clear agreements, protecting business interests, addressing workplace concerns, and planning for future transitions. Her work focuses on preventing problems before they escalate and resolving issues in ways that support each client’s goals. Shea is also admitted to practice in North Dakota, Minnesota, and the federal court in North Dakota.
