Daniel J. Welch is a senior partner at Welch Law Firm, P.C. in Omaha, Nebraska, with more than two decades of courtroom and litigation experience. His practice spans personal injury, civil rights, discrimination, corporate and employment law, insurance defense, and general civil litigation. He has appeared in both state and federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, earning recognition as a strong and reliable trial advocate.
Daniel earned his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law in 1998 after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1993, where he received both a Bachelor of Science and a B.A. degree. His dual academic foundation prepared him to analyze complex issues with precision, laying the groundwork for his multifaceted career in litigation and business law.
Beyond private practice, Daniel has held significant roles in public service. In 1994, he served as a Senior Staff Member in the U.S. House of Representatives under Congressman Jon Christensen. He was later elected to the Omaha City Council, where he served multiple terms and held the position of Council President. In 2015, he was elected Chairman of the Nebraska Republican Party, a leadership role he continues to hold today.
