Daniel F. “Frank” Blanchard, III is a seasoned litigator with a practice dedicated to employment disputes, business litigation, and probate, estate, and trust cases. Guided by a strong commitment to justice, he has extensive trial experience representing individuals, businesses, and fiduciaries in complex and high-stakes matters. His work spans civil jury trials, trust disputes, and employment-related contract negotiations.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Furman University in 1989, where he was a Furman Scholar and Kennedy Foundation Scholar, and was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1992. While there, he was named to the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Wig and Robe, served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the ABA Real Property, Probate & Trust Journal, and earned the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence.
Daniel’s career reflects not only courtroom advocacy but also contributions to legal scholarship. He has published widely on topics including unfair trade practices, contractual interference, attorneys’ fees in estate disputes, elder law, and employment matters. He is also a frequent lecturer on probate issues, workplace law, and litigation strategy. His professional standing is underscored by his AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
