Damien Munsinger

Damien Munsinger is a seasoned employment law attorney with extensive experience representing individuals, companies, universities, and government agencies. His practice includes handling discrimination claims, workplace harassment, and retaliation cases. Damien began his academic journey at New York University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School. His academic background in both the arts and law contributes to his clear communication skills and persuasive presence in both legal writing and oral argument.

Damien has litigated a wide range of employment-related claims, including race, sex, age, disability, pregnancy, religious, and sexual orientation discrimination. He also handles sexual harassment, hostile work environment, non-competition agreements, severance packages, executive compensation, and tenure disputes in higher education. His clients benefit from his practical knowledge of state and federal employment laws.

Damien previously worked as an Honors Attorney for the Oregon Department of Justice, where he litigated cases in both state and federal court. He also served as Special Assistant to Oregon’s Attorney General, focusing on community outreach and policy coordination with business leaders and elected officials. His experience in public service adds depth to his legal perspective and strengthens his advocacy for clients.

Damien contributes to the legal community as a trustee of The International School and as a member of the Advisory Board of The Commons Law Center, which supports affordable legal access. He has also taught at Lewis & Clark and Willamette University’s law programs, sharing his expertise with future legal professionals.
