Curtis Moore

Curtis Moore is the founder of Moore Legacy Law’s Parkville/Kansas City office, where he focuses on estate planning and litigation with a family-centered approach. His mission is to help clients protect what matters most by offering legal guidance that adapts to their evolving life stages and goals.

Curtis earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Applied Communication from the University of Missouri–Columbia. His academic foundation supports a client-focused and strategic legal practice.

Curtis previously served as a litigation attorney with Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP, where he defended Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and medical device companies. He was a key team member in the pelvic mesh mass tort litigation—one of the largest in U.S. history—developing advanced litigation and negotiation skills.

Since founding Moore Legacy Law in 2019, Curtis has guided individuals and families through every aspect of estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and guardianship planning. His firm focuses on proactive, customized strategies designed to protect assets, minimize stress, and provide long-term peace of mind. Curtis serves as a lifelong estate planning partner, helping families navigate each stage of their legal and financial legacy with clarity and confidence.

Curtis also has a strong record of pro bono service, volunteering hundreds of hours to assist clients in family and criminal matters. He is a charter member of the Missouri Coalition for the Right to Counsel, demonstrating his dedication to legal access and community support.
