Craig I. Kelley has dedicated his career to helping clients resolve financial and business-related legal matters. Since beginning his practice, he has focused on developing innovative approaches to bankruptcy, creditor representation, and litigation, always working to find practical solutions for those facing complex disputes and financial difficulties.
Craig earned his B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida in 1985. He then went on to graduate with a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1988. His education in both business and law allows him to offer clients an informed perspective that combines financial understanding with deep legal knowledge.
Craig’s practice covers Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters, where he represents creditors and other parties in adversary, contested, and complex proceedings. He also assists with foreclosure matters, including forbearance agreements, deeds in lieu, evictions, and collections. In addition, Craig advises clients on corporate governance, commercial transactions, real estate closings, and business disputes.
Craig has served for nearly two decades as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Palm Beach State College, teaching courses in business and bankruptcy law. Beyond the classroom, he lectures nationwide on bankruptcy and foreclosure topics, sharing his insight and experience with professionals and peers.
Craig’s professional standing is reinforced by memberships in respected legal organizations, including the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, and before the United States Supreme Court.
