Marrs earned his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1986 after receiving his A.B. in Biology from Harvard University in 1980. He represents investors pursuing claims involving alleged wrongful brokerage or investment advisory practices and counsels securities brokers and investment advisers leaving established firms. Clinton Marrs has four decades of litigation and arbitration experience and was recognized with the U.S. Department of Justice Tax Division’s Outstanding Attorney Award during his federal service. He has also served as a director of the New Mexico Bar Association’s Business Law and Tax Law sections. His background in federal tax litigation, securities disputes, fiduciary matters, and business conflicts supports a practical approach centered on communication, cost-conscious strategy, and clients’ commercial priorities.
