Denisse Enriquez

Denisse Enriquez is an associate attorney at Rodey, Dickason, Sloan, Akin, & Robb, P.A., and a member of the Litigation Department’s Professional Liability Group. Her practice includes health law, medical malpractice defense, and professional liability matters. Denisse is proficient in both Spanish and English, supporting clear communication with a broader range of clients. She brings prior paralegal experience in family law, administrative labor board, personnel board, and civil lawsuits and disputes, giving her a practical foundation for handling complex disputes and defense legal work.

Denisse earned her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2022. She previously earned her B.B.A. in Human Resources from the University of New Mexico, Anderson School of Management in 2017. During law school, she participated in the New Mexico State Bar Judicial Clerkship Program as a Summer Judicial Law Clerk. She also earned Clinical Honors through the Community Lawyering Clinical Program, gaining additional experience with practical legal work, client service, and professional responsibility matters firsthand.

Denisse began her legal career as a paralegal, where she supported attorneys handling family law, administrative labor board, personnel board, and civil litigation matters. That experience gave her early exposure to case preparation, legal research, client support, and litigation procedures before becoming an attorney. At Rodey Law, she applies this background to professional liability and health law matters. Her work reflects careful preparation, attention to detail, and an understanding of the procedural demands involved in defending complex professional liability claims.

Denisse Enriquez is admitted to practice in New Mexico and before the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. Her professional development includes legal writing on environmental justice issues in New Mexico. She authored a book review titled “Environmental Justice in New Mexico: Counting Coup,” published in the Natural Resources Journal in Winter 2021. Her combination of litigation experience, bilingual communication skills, academic achievement, and prior paralegal work supports her growing practice in professional liability and medical malpractice.
