Clarence Chan

Clarence K. Chan is a lifelong resident of Stockton, California, who has represented clients throughout the Central Valley for nearly twenty-five years. Since 1997, he has dedicated his practice to serving individuals, families, and businesses in San Joaquin County with trusted legal counsel and effective representation. Clarence graduated from Yale University in 1992 after completing high school at Stagg in Stockton. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Hastings College of the Law in 1997, the same year he was admitted to the State Bar of California. He began his career at the Stockton law firm of Kroloff, Belcher, Smart, Perry & Christopherson, where he practiced until founding his own firm in 2002.

Clarence’s legal practice concentrates on estate planning, real estate and business litigation, and personal injury. In estate planning, he has helped hundreds of clients design customized plans to protect their assets and provide peace of mind for their families. He also represents small businesses, professionals, and entrepreneurs in various real estate and business matters, including contract drafting, lease negotiations, dispute resolution, and other related matters.

Beyond his legal work, Clarence Chan is deeply involved in community service. He has served on the board of the American Lung Association, the Stockton Unified School Board, and the executive boards of various faith-based organizations. In 2024, he revived the Central Valley Youth Symphony, creating opportunities for young musicians in San Joaquin County. He continues to serve his community with the same dedication that defines his legal career.
