Christopher M. Moody is a founding partner of Moody & Stanford, P.C., with over 40 years of experience practicing employment and labor law. He represents both management and employees in a wide range of matters, including labor relations, wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage and hour disputes. His practice spans individual cases and large-scale class and collective actions.
A graduate of Duke University School of Law, Christopher is licensed to practice in New Mexico, Colorado, and California. He regularly appears in labor relations proceedings involving collective bargaining, representation matters, and unfair labor practice charges, as well as grievance arbitrations and employment-related litigation.
Christopher has been at the forefront of landmark employment discrimination cases. His firm served as co-class counsel in a national gender discrimination lawsuit involving over 2,800 women stockbrokers, which settled for more than $46 million along with significant injunctive relief. He also helped secure a $32 million settlement in another major gender discrimination case in 2011.
