About
Christopher Eskew is the founder of Eskew Law in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he focuses entirely on criminal and DUI defense. He represents people facing charges involving drug crimes, firearm possession, property offenses, murder, DUI, traffic violations, and other criminal matters. Eskew works with clients to understand their priorities, explain the criminal process, and develop defense strategies tailored to each case’s facts, risks, and goals.
Eskew earned a B.A. in Computer Science from DePauw University in 2000 and graduated from Indiana University School of Law–Indianapolis in 2006. During law school, he participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic, representing clients as a student attorney, and took part in Moot Court to strengthen his oral advocacy and legal writing skills. He later attended the National Criminal Defense College’s Trial Practice Institute, continuing his training in courtroom advocacy and criminal defense.
Eskew began his legal career with the Marion County Public Defender’s Agency in 2007 and later practiced with several Indianapolis criminal defense firms before founding Eskew Law in 2011. Since beginning practice in 2006, he has concentrated on criminal defense and has represented clients in county, appellate, and federal courts throughout Indiana. His experience includes serious felony cases, DUI matters, drug charges, gun offenses, property crimes, and other contested criminal proceedings.
The National Trial Lawyers has recognized Christopher Eskew among its Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and the National Advocacy for DUI Defense among its Top 100 DUI Attorneys in Indiana. He is active in national, state, and local criminal defense organizations, including the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and National College for DUI Defense. Eskew combines substantial criminal defense experience with ongoing professional education and a client-centered approach focused on communication, preparation, and practical defense strategy.
