Christian J. Sanchelima

Christian J. Sanchelima is known for his strong record in intellectual property law, filing hundreds of patents and trademarks annually and handling international protections across industries. Chris first earned his B.S.I.E. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida, where he was active in student organizations, including the Entrepreneurship & Technology Club and the Cuban American Student Association. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor in Intellectual Property Law from Florida International University College of Law, graduating cum laude.

Chris has extensive litigation experience, representing clients in federal and state courts across the United States, including Florida, New York, Texas, and California. He has argued jury trials, obtained summary judgments, and secured favorable settlements. His work before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board includes both prosecuting and defending proceedings, giving him valuable insight into how to anticipate opposing strategies.

Chris also contributed as a professor at Florida International University College of Law, where he taught Patent Law and led workshops training students in preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Beyond intellectual property, his practice covers franchise disputes, franchise consulting, business formation, and commercial litigation involving contracts and partnerships.
