Charles A. Sturm is the founding partner of Sturm Law PLLC and a seasoned litigator with a sharp focus on employment and business law. Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Charles represents employers, executives, and employees in disputes involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour violations, and restrictive covenants.
Charles earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 1997 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. His dual background in law and business allows him to offer strategic counsel in employment and commercial litigation matters.
Recognized as a Texas “Super Lawyer” every year since 2017 and a former “Rising Star,” Charles is a trusted legal advocate with a proven record in state and federal courts. His courtroom experience spans the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth and Ninth Courts of Appeals, and district courts throughout Texas and other states.
In addition to employment law, Charles advises on business litigation and trademark disputes. He is a frequent speaker on employment law topics and has led and participated in panels for the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association, covering issues such as trade secrets, non-compete agreements, and Anti-SLAPP litigation.
