Chad R. Lingenfelder is an attorney who represents clients in a wide range of legal matters, including criminal law, civil law, family law, traffic law, landlord-tenant disputes, wills, trusts, and pardons or expungements. He serves clients in both Delaware and Maryland.
Chad graduated from Sussex Central High School in 2004, where he was a letterman in football, golf, and tennis. He later attended Gettysburg College on the President’s Academic Scholarship and graduated with honors in 2008 with dual degrees in Political Science and Secondary Education.
Chad earned his law degree from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, in 2011. During law school, he received a Pro Bono distinction in recognition of his community service work and his commitment to providing legal assistance to others.
Chad gained valuable legal experience through several internships and clerkships. He worked as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Kenneth S. Clark in the Sussex Court of Common Pleas, served as a legislative attorney intern for the Delaware House of Representatives, and completed a prosecutorial internship with the Delaware Office of the Attorney General.
Chad was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2012 and the Delaware Bar in 2012. Since 2013, he has practiced law in the private sector, representing clients across a wide range of legal matters in both states.
Chad R. Lingenfelder is active in the legal community and is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, Sussex County Bar Association, and the Terry-Carey Inn of Court.
